We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the Forensic Accounting and Audit Specialist role. If you have a passion for uncovering financial irregularities, providing expert witness testimony, rebutting flawed forensic accounting reports prepared by others, and ensuring regulatory compliance, we invite you to apply.
Flexible
As a Forensic Accounting and Audit Specialist, you will be at the forefront of detecting fraud, conducting loss assessments, and ensuring tax compliance. You will also play a vital role as an expert witness when required and ensuring adherence to regulatory and corporate policies and procedures.
1- Forensic Accounting
Serve as an expert witness in legal proceedings
Detect and investigate financial fraud cases
Rebutting flawed forensic accounting reports prepared by others
2- Audit and Review
Provide tax compliance services for individuals and businesses
Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements
Oversee corporate policies and procedures compliance
8+ years of experience in forensic accounting and audit
~ Proven expertise in loss assessment, fraud detection, and expert witness services
~ Strong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance
~ Familiarity with regulatory and corporate policies and procedures
~ Excellent understanding of auditing standards and practices
~ Experience in bankruptcy is considered an asset
~ Experience as an expert witness is regarded as an asset
~ Experience acting as CFO, Controller, or other corporate management roles is viewed as an asset
~ Experience in working for big public accounting firms is considered an asset
~ Industry experience is viewed as an asset
~ Experience with cryptocurrency accounting and fraud is regarded as an asset.

Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge of emerging accounting technologies is considered an asset
