Position Summary:

Nortech Advanced NDT is seeking qualified CGSB RT2 and CEDO technicians for an upcoming turnaround project at a client facility located north of Fort McMurray. The technicians will be responsible for conducting nondestructive testing activities, ensuring the integrity and safety of critical equipment. This position requires working 12-hour shifts on a 6-day-on, 1-day-off schedule, with accommodation provided. The turnaround dates are scheduled from early to mid-May to mid-June. Applicants must be Canadian residents.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform nondestructive testing (NDT) activities, including radiographic testing (RT) and certified exposure device operator (CEDO) duties, according to client specifications and industry standards.
  • Conduct inspections and evaluations to assess the condition and integrity of equipment, structures, and materials.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and colleagues.
  • Document and report findings accurately and in a timely manner, maintaining detailed records of testing activities and results.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and project stakeholders to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Participate in training and professional development activities to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
  • Valid CGSB RT2 certification and CEDO certification.
  • Proven experience in nondestructive testing techniques, particularly radiographic testing.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Strong commitment to safety and compliance with HSSE protocols.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and adhere to project timelines.
  • Canadian residency is mandatory for this position.
