As a faculty member of the School of Health and Community Services, you will play a key role in promoting academic excellence and creating an effective learning environment. You are a licensed hairstylist with a diploma in hairstyling and possess a relevant combination of current (within the last five (5) years) industry experience and teaching experience relative to all aspects of hairstyling, ideally having a subspecialty. The successful candidate should have a strong background in all vocational learning outcomes related to hairstyling, including haircutting (shaping), colouring, hairdressing, hair extensions, wigs, sales, and marketing.

Our ideal candidate is flexible, adaptable and has the ability to remain current within a constantly changing environment. You are comfortable working with technology and are proficient in a variety of computer applications including word processing, presentation, e-mail, learning management systems, online learning applications and various web applications.
NOTE: This position requires the ability to teach day and/or evening classes.
