Telecom Electronics Technician, Boucherville

Boucherville QC, Canada Telcobridges Inc. Full time

Reporting to the Director of Production and Supply, you will be responsible for assembling, repairing, programming new subassemblies and the finished product, in accordance with quality standards.

Roles and responsibilities :

  • Assemble new sub-assemblies and finished products
  • Inspect assemblies manufactured by our subcontractors
  • Carry out sub-assemblies tests independently
  • Analyze and repair defective assemblies (troubleshooting / board level)
  • Ensure that products meet specifications and quality standards
  • Work in accordance with planning objectives
  • Develop a good knowledge of our products, testing equipment and documentation
  • Support other team members if necessary

Essential skills:

  • Strong troubleshooting/problem diagnosis skills (repair of electronic cards)
  • Demonstrate accuracy and completeness of tasks
  • Respect commitments in terms of time and quality
  • Document and fix problems encountered
  • Show creativity in finding solutions
  • Provide innovative solutions
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Strong ability to adapt

Qualifications and experience :

  • College diploma in electrical engineering or equivalent experience
  • 2 to 5 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in electronics/telecommunications
  • Experience with Windows / Linux operating systems
  • Good communication skills (French and English, oral and written)
  • Experience in a similar position is an asset
  • Experience in a Lean Manufacturing environment is an asset
  • Experience with an ERP (Odoo) is an asset
  • Skill in soldering electronic parts
