6 Month Long Contract Opportunity 70-80/Per hour / 35 hours per week2 days on site in Montreal - Quebec French + English speaking Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced billiangual (French+English) Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building and managing CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code using Terraform, container orchestration with Kubernetes, and secrets management with Vault. This role will play a crucial part in enhancing our infrastructure, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security. Key Responsibilities:Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to support rapid development and deployment cycles.Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform to provision and manage cloud resources.Deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications using Kubernetes.Implement and manage secrets and configuration management using Vault.Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.Ensure security best practices are followed across the infrastructure and applications.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continually improve processes and infrastructure.Qualifications:5+ years of experience in a DevOps or related role.Strong experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).Terraform for IACHands-on experience with KubernetesExperience with Vault for secrets management and secure configuration.Solid understanding of cloud platforms - AWS Ideally Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python).Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Preferred Qualifications:Certification in Kubernetes (CKA, CKAD) or Terraform.Experience with service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio).Knowledge of configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet).Experience with container security tools (e.g., Aqua, Twistlock).
