AlphaBee is seeking talented individuals to fill the role of a Part-Time Occupational Therapist (OT) in Toronto, Ontario. The OT is responsible for the provision of school and/or clinic based occupational assessments and therapy to our AlphaBee clients in addition to their ABA services or as a stand-alone service.
AlphaBee works with children 18 months to 18 years of age throughout the GTA, Peel, Halton Hamilton, York and surrounding regions. We provide ABA and other clinical services for children and youth with ASD (autism) and other developmental and behavioural challenges:
Ongoing professional training opportunities through our training division alphabeePRO
~ Supportive and flexible work culture
~ Strong knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
Experience with ABA and verbal behaviour is an asset
You enjoy working with children, are creative and have great play skills with them
Commitment to post-graduate professional development
Valid Driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle is a strongly recommended asset

 
University degree in Occupational Therapy
First Aid and CPR Trained
CPI training (offered internally)

 
Assess and treat our clients in addition to their ABA services or as a stand-alone service
Support clients in development of cognitive, physical, social, and motor skills
Responsible for progress notes, recording and graphing of programming data when applicable
