Lycopodium is currently recruiting for a Lead Project Cost Controller to join our growing Project Controls team in Mississauga Ont.
Reporting to the Project Controls Manager the Cost Controller will is responsible for the accurate, effective, and timely control of Project costs and accounting functions to produce results in alignment with the client’s and project’s requirements.
To produce accurate and timely reports as and when required by the clients and by senior management within Lycopodium.
Ensure the quality of output of the allocated Cost and accounting teams, and that they are aligned with the needs of the project / study, the company objectives and meets the requirements of the client.
Develop and maintain the various project cost and accounting specific procedures, work practices, plans, systems and protocols to enable efficient work and maintain a consistent approach and high standard of work.
Formal post-graduate qualifications in Accounting (CPA, CA).
A minimum of 5 years experience in project-related accounting and cost control.
Computerized accounting and cost control and logistics systems, and their operation and applications.
