We’re looking for a Field Adjuster, Property Large Loss to join our growing team
Workplace : Telecommuting (some regions could be favored)
As a Field Adjuster on our Property Large Loss team , you will handle large and complex commercial property claims through all distribution channels.The types of losses may include Commercial Property, Energy, Equipment Breakdown, and additional Specialty Claims.
Manage, investigate, analyze, negotiate and resolve large and complex commercial property claims generally with exposures over $1M or involving specialized kind of loss
Mentor, guide and provide technical advice to regional file handlers to ensure consistent and effective claims handling and support long term succession planning
Train colleagues on complex claims handling
Deliver all key performance indicators as it relates to loss development and loss adjustment expenses, claims leakage control and expense management
Leverage your expertise in a creative, continuous improvement environment to support a model of best practice operations
Effectively negotiate claims when appropriate
Able to adapt to changing needs and understand the need to be flexible and agile
~ 10+ years experience with direct handling of large and complex commercial property claims
~ Appropriate knowledge of all relevant regulatory and legal requirements applicable to the position
~ Undergraduate Degree or CIP designation (asset)
~ Valid drivers license
~ Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset
