As a Staff Product Designer of our Design System Skyline, you will be part of an empowered enablement team applying your experience and skills to designing solutions that move us towards a consistent and cohesive product platform experience. Some of the problems you could be helping solve include:

Evolve our design system to align with our future platform vision while supporting our existing legacy designs
Foster cross-functional collaboration to bring unified design and intentional user experiences across donating, volunteering, and granting
Serve as a thought leader, uplifting the design team's skills in UI design, design thinking, and systems thinking
Work with design leadership to refine and enhance our design strategies for greater efficiency and impact
Report to the Director of Product Design and be responsible for managing, maintaining, and grow the Skyline Design System
Work collaboratively with the team to modernize our product platform experience and increase the efficiency of designers and developers building them
Advocate, educate, and enable product management, product design, and engineering in the use and best practices of the design system
Uphold the highest standards of accessibility and inclusiveness across the design system
Actively participate in ongoing planning activities with your team. We're on the lookout for a staff product designer with a knack for unifying complex systems within the context of enterprise software. We value diversity in experience and understand that expertise isn't solely measured by years. A strong portfolio showcasing your proven experience designing products and design systems that achieve real outcomes for users and the teams that build with them.
Experience unifying complex software with a design system that encompasses multiple products inside of a platform company.
Experience in designing and delivering products across a large enterprise product ecosystem.
Able to demonstrate experience designing components and patterns, documentation, and educational materials for designers and front-end developers.
Can demonstrate your skill in using the right pattern for the right platform, be it native mobile or responsive web.
Consider themselves a Figma expert, especially in the realm of building components, patterns, and templates in ways that support a large team of designers building with it.
Experience assisting in improving design processes with an emphasis on scalability and design efficiency.
You have developed communication, collaboration and creative problem-solving skills: the ability to lead and the humility to adapt.
Experience creating solutions that meet WCAG compliance and other inclusive design principles
Can use the right design tool at the right time to generate insights, high and low-fidelity prototypes, and developer-ready documentation
Giving, volunteering, and granting are surprisingly complex and rewarding problem spaces to work in
~ 2,500 per year in charitable donations and volunteer matching through our giving program
