Are you looking for an opportunity with exposure to business and M&A activities? Would you like to leverage your foundation in accounting to analyze business results and perform value-added financial analysis? Downtown core location
~ Hybrid office policy – only 1-2 days in office
~ Growth-by-acquisition – M&A exposure
~ Track record of finance promotions
~$We are recruiting on behalf of a leader in their industry, currently seeking a recently qualified Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) from a large accounting firm for this newly created position due to growth.
Assist with pre and post acquisition activities including due diligence and financial integration
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial packages including value-added analysis and commentary
• Review of business unit cash and balance sheets to ensure adherence to working capital metrics/targets
• Business partner with portfolio companies and provide financial guidance to senior leadership
• Management reporting including presentation of consolidated forecasts and variance analysis
• Perform analysis for variances, key performance indicators, operational metrics, and ad hoc requests
• 3+ years of progressive experience in public accounting
• Experience auditing public companies under IFRS
• Strong analytical skills and Excel proficiency
• Complex accounting experience
