where you can utilize your Red Seal technical expertise, knowledge of PLCs and a couple years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
This role is a graveyard shift beginning on Sunday at 11pm and finishing on Thursday at 730am. Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and control panels within the mill.
-Diagnose and repair electrical issues in machinery, sensors, transmitters, and other equipment to ensure uninterrupted operations.
-Program, troubleshoot, and optimize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other control systems to enhance efficiency and precision in the mill processes.
-Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines when working with electrical systems.
-Identify and address electrical safety hazards within the mill environment to maintain a safe working atmosphere.
-Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and breakdowns to minimize downtime.
-Prioritize and address critical electrical issues to ensure the continuous operation of sawmill equipment.
-Collaborate with other maintenance and operations personnel to coordinate electrical repairs and maintenance activities.
-Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to convey information about electrical systems and potential improvements.
Strong background in PLCs setup and troubleshooting
-Solid background in heavy industry and construction
