Advance your career in this dynamic role, reporting to the Manager of Development & Environmental Services .
Dive into major planning projects, tackling some of the most intricate development applications.
Oversee, direct, and guide a team through the intricate review and processing of development applications.
Ensure adherence to established plans and directives, championing appropriate and sustainable development.

A Master’s Degree in Urban, Regional, or equivalent, paired with an undergraduate degree in a related field(s).
Formal training in urban design and or architecture is an asset
A minimum of 8 years of development planning experience, preferably in local government or the private development industry.
Membership or eligibility for full membership in the Planning Institute of BC.
Possession of a valid BC Class 5 Driver's License.
Thorough knowledge of planning and urban design principles, practices, and laws.
Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
