OBJECTIF GÉNÉRAL

Responsable de diriger les employés pour assurer la satisfaction de la clientèle en déplaçant toutes les expéditions à temps et sans dommages tout en appliquant les politiques et procédures de l’entreprise et en respectant les politiques réglementaires.

RESPONSABILITÉS ET FONCTIONS ESSENTIELLES

• Favoriser un environnement de travail sécuritaire.
• Diriger, éduquer et former les employés de l’entreprise.
• Planifier et communiquer les charges quotidiennes pour s’assurer que le fret est livré dans les délais prévus.
• Communiquer avec les chauffeurs contractuels et les gestionnaires de comptes, afin de s’assurer que les besoins du client et de l’entreprise sont satisfaits.
• Planifier la main-d’œuvre quotidienne pour s’assurer que le fret du client est livré et ramassé dans les délais prévus et ce, sans dommages.
• Communiquer avec la répartition dans divers centres de service et les employés des quais pour coordonner le mouvement des remorques et du fret.
• Coordonner la distribution des chargements entrants et sortants afin d’assurer la conformité des temps de départ.
• Surveiller et s’assurer que les envois GAMD et sur rendez-vous sont livrés à temps.
• Répartir les livraisons et des ramassages pour s’assurer qu’ils sont terminés à temps.
• Communiquer avec les centres de service tout au long du processus de transport en ligne pour s’assurer que le fret demeure en cycle
• Surveiller et analyser toutes les possibilités de réduire les coûts et d’améliorer l’efficacité
• Effectuer des fonctions administratives telles que l’impression des reçus de livraison, la facturation manifeste des envois de marchandises, le traçage des expéditions, etc.
• Signaler l’activité de transport en ligne, y compris le pourcentage de cube de remorque, le poids des remorques, les délais de retard, etc.
• Surveiller les données réelles sur le rendement et recueillir de l’information pour la production des rapports
• Identifier les marchandises se déplaçant à un poids et une classification incorrecte
• S’assurer que toutes les exceptions OS&D sont identifiées et traitées correctement
• Aider les autres superviseurs au besoin
• Tenir des réunions quotidiennes avant le début du quart de travail avec les équipes de rapport
• Mettre en œuvre les politiques de l’entreprise et se conformer à toutes les lois et règlements applicables
• Se conformer à toutes les lois/règlements applicables, ainsi qu’aux politiques/procédures de l’entreprise
• Effectuer d’autres tâches au besoin

QUALIFICATIONS DE BASE

• Diplôme d’études secondaires ou diplôme d’études professionnelles, exigé
• Études postsecondaires préférées ;
• Bilinguisme (anglais/Français) un atout ; exigé au Québec
• Expérience dans l’industrie du transport, un atout.
• Expérience antérieure en leadership, un atout
• Doit avoir une connaissance approfondie de l’industrie LTL, des règles et règlements DOT
• Connaissances en planification de chargement et répartition ; un atout
• Bonnes aptitudes interpersonnelles
• Sens de l'organisation, bonne gestion du temps et capacités à mener plusieurs tâches de front.
• Excellentes compétences informatiques. - MS Office, Outlook, Word & Excel
• Capacité d’interpréter et de comprendre les politiques et procédures de l’entreprise

CONDITIONS DE TRAVAIL :
Doit être capable d’entendre à un niveau qui permettrait la reconnaissance de dispositifs de sécurité tels que des klaxons, des signaux de secours et des machines dans l’environnement de travail potentiellement encombré d’un quai de chargement, d’une remorque ou d’un camion et de la cour
