Big Hearts Home Healthcare* is looking for Licensed Practical Nurses to start work immediately. We service seniors, injured workers, accident victims, discharged patients and others. This position will be within the local area and applicants are encouraged to have a car to commute to the facility. Under the direction of the Operations Director, the Licensed Practical Nrse provides direct care to clients to fulfil the physical, intellectual, emotional, and social needs of clients and in accordance with our policies, procedures and work routines.
*Plan and manage resident care according to their needs
* Interview patients and record their medical history and physical condition.
* Provide routine care for patients
* Observe patients’ health
* Review medical charts.
* Perform standard diagnostic procedures including EKG, phlebotomy, venipuncture, PFT, and Doppler.
* Provide wound care.
* Ability to read and write English fluently
* Licensed Practical Nurse degree and active license
* 1-2 years experience in a hospital, clinic or facility
* Knowledge of infection control practices and occupational hazards
