What’s the role?

As a Solutions/Enterprise Architect at RAVL,you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing comprehensive technology solutions that address the unique challenges and opportunities faced by our financial services clients. This individual will leverage their deep industry knowledge and technical expertise to create robust, scalable, and secure architectures that align with both current and future business objectives.

A typical day at RAVL

Your daily routine as a Solutions/Enterprise Architect includes:

  • Client Engagement: Collaborating with clients to understand their business goals, challenges, and technical requirements within the financial services domain. Building strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment between business and technology strategies.
  • Solution Design: Architect end-to-end solutions that encompass hardware, software, data, and integration components, ensuring they meet the specific needs of financial institutions. Design scalable and secure solutions that comply with industry regulations and standards. Provide guidance on technology selection and ensure the feasibility of proposed solutions.
  • Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of developers, engineers, and other stakeholders in the successful delivery of financial services projects. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, integrating them into solution designs where appropriate.
  • Risk Management: Evaluate and mitigate potential risks associated with proposed solutions, considering factors such as security, compliance, and performance. Implement best practices for disaster recovery, data protection, and overall system resilience.
  • Documentation and Communication: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for architecture designs, technical specifications, and implementation plans. Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Solution Architect within financial services.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial systems, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Strong expertise in architecting solutions using cloud technologies, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
