The HVAC Supervisor is a key member of their team, performing service work on HVAC systems and equipment in commercial, residential, and industrial environments. As the supervisor of HVAC, you will ensure your department is performing duties in compliance with company policies and standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety, and complete on-time completion of projects.
*Responsibilities*
* Supervise and coordinate the work of HVAC technicians and other staff
* Install, maintain and service heating, ventilation and cooling units
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
* Monitor and conduct maintenance and repairs of HVAC equipment on and off site
* Perform regular maintenance on machines. equipment, facilities, and contracts
* Plan and manage HVAC replacement projects
* Plan and prioritize work for self and staff
* Determine inventory, supplies and equipment
* Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
* Diagnose problems, replace and repair parts, test and make adjustments
* Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
*Requirements*
* 313 A Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Systems Mechanic Certificate with a minimum of 5 years’ experience
* TSSA Gas Technician 2 Certification
* HVAC service experience with roof top units, air handler, chillers, furnace, gas boilers and water heaters
* Valid drivers license with valid drivers abstract
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully diplomatically and professionally at all times
