Altis Recruitment has partnered with a leading multinational financial services firm in search for a skilled Loan Analyst. This role is pivotal in delivering financial services to our clients by meticulously verifying loan applications, deposits, foreign exchange transactions, Standby Letters of Credit (SBLC), and Trade Financing products. The Analyst ensures all transactions comply with established policies, procedures, and credit lines, in addition to providing essential administrative support to the Loan Administration Department.

This is a 1-year contract to start, with a strong possibility of becoming permanent.

Competitive compensation package including: RRSP contribution of 5.5% after 6 months, bonus potential of 10-15%, varying based on bank, team, and individual performance. 3 weeks vacation, benefits from day 1, fully covered by the employer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance of loan applications, deposits, FX, SBLC, and import bills with bank policies and credit lines.
  • Engage with clients for loan management activities such as rollovers, repayments, and negotiations on loan terms.
  • Facilitate the issuance of SBLCs by obtaining and managing necessary documents and instructions from clients.
  • Handle customer inquiries, address complaints, and communicate transaction confirmations and relevant market information.
  • Maintain and update client documentation and loan balances accurately.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including correspondence drafting and compliance documentation management.
  • Input and manage transaction details in banking software systems (Loan IQ, FOX, OBS, Profile).
  • Ensure compliance with Anti-Money Laundering policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in corporate banking, particularly with SBLC, trade financing products, and client interfacing in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Loan IQ, FOX, OBS, Profile, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
  • Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced setting.
