Lead retail performance at Rogers Place through sales leadership, financial oversight, and multi-location operations across Edmonton’s sports environment. Drive results across stores, activations, and e-commerce.
The Director of Retail leads Rank + Rally operations for Rogers Place, the Flagship Official Team Store, Ice District activations, and e-commerce. Reporting locally to OEG marketing leadership and operationally to Rank + Rally retail leadership, this senior role oversees retail managers, supervisors, and hourly staff. The position develops leaders, maintains retail standards, and advances marketing and sales initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead financial results across every retail location
- Oversee visual presentation and merchandising standards
- Approve expenses, schedules, and variable labor spending
- Coordinate client events, activations, and location build-outs
- Coach leaders toward sales and profitability objectives
Requirements:
- Three years of Store Director or general manager experience
- Alternatively, three years of multi-unit management experience
- Sports industry or arena Store Director experience
- Two to three years of buying or purchasing experience
- Flexible availability for event-driven weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays
