Position Summary:
As the Senior Manager, Treasury, you be primarily responsible for supporting treasury and debt management activities including forecasting, budgeting, financing activities, capital, cash management and accounts payable.
Responsibilities of the Treasury function include (but are not limited to): oversight of various credit facilities, monitoring debt compliance, financial modeling, review of KPIs, preparation of presentation materials, oversight of our accounts payable function, and managing account bank and lender relationships. The role will require the individual to act as a liaison between various finance and operations teams and the corporate treasury function.
This is a hybrid role with 3 days of the week collaborating with our team in the Warden (Markham, ON) office. 2 days remote.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for maintenance of the overall capital structure, including compliance with all lender deliverables and debt covenants;
- Partner with broader finance function to monitor cash and debt levels, including cash flow forecasting;
- Oversee the accounts payable function, including on-shore and off-shore employees;
- Identify and implement process improvement initiatives to drive efficiency in accounts payable and treasury management processes;
- Manage integration of our Canadian and US banks with our ERP, billing system, etc.;
- Integrate, consolidate and standardize treasury and cash management practices following acquisitions;
- Support with analysis and presentations for lenders, rating agencies and Private Equity sponsors;
- Peer review internal models for various initiatives;
- Special projects as required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in treasury, accounts payable, and financial modelling including, scenario/sensitivity analysis, leverage scenarios, and financial evaluation;
- CPA, MBA, CFA or equivalent considered a strong asset;
- Working knowledge of IFRS and accounting principles;
- Ability to adapt to new challenges in a dynamic and fast-paced environment;
- Analytical and strategic thinker with the ability to assess complex situations and make effective recommendations;
- Excellent organizational skills and capability to effectively manage priorities and apply a pragmatic and efficient approach to timely handle complex assignments;
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with a proven track record of working with individuals across various levels and backgrounds;
- Ability to prioritize, critically analyze, solve and where appropriate, escalate issues;
- Strong decision-making and analytical skills;
- A self-starter with strong attention to detail and a focus on meeting deadlines
