A critical objective of this role will be delivering a trusted Broker Experience, taking ownership of risk decisions and transcending a confident and professional experience to our Broker Partners.
As a Senior Underwriter, you ensure communication with Broker Partners is consistent, fair and delivers a valuable service. You will play a meaningful role in delivering exclusive underwriting service and will balance the broker needs against the corporate priorities to enable profitable growth and underwriting excellence.
Responsible for delivering superior quality service and cultivating a “One Stop Shop” environment our brokers.
Produce new accounts through your engagement with our brokers, that includes price and coverage analysis, and tailoring the product to meet specific needs of the end customer.
This role is about building relationships and continuously learning and developing knowledge about the end customers' needs through the broker. Ability to multi-task and navigate through several applications at the same time (Portal, Insurac, Salesforce, DocVault, Google and other web based applications)
Responsible and are expected to continuously update soft skills through identified e-learn courses and product/industry knowledge through CIP or other related industry accreditations.
This role provides the opportunity to engage with brokers across Canada, and therefore requires the flexibility to work within our operational hours of 8:00 am to 8:00 pm Monday to Friday.
5+ years' High Value personal lines experience is a huge plus.
