Van Pile) is seeking a Chief Estimating Officer to join our dynamic and growing team. As one of the largest marine general contractors in Canada, we boast a rich history of constructing major marine facilities along the British Columbia coastline and inland waters since 1913.
Prepare comprehensive bids, select appropriate vendors and subcontractors, and evaluate cost-effectiveness.
~ Review design alternatives, suggesting optimal solutions based on cost, engineering quality, and material availability.
~ Bring a minimum of 15 years of experience in heavy civil construction, with a proven track record of successfully bidding and securing large-scale projects.
~ Previous experience in marine construction (e.g., Hold a B.Sc in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
~ Proficient in software applications including Excel, HeavyBid, AutoCAD, and MS Project.
~ Extended health, dental, wellness benefits, and EAP program.
~14 statutory holidays per calendar year.
