Corrpro provides professional corrosion consulting and cathodic protection engineering services to major oil companies, government agencies, municipal water, sewer and gas utilities, universities, and public transportation agencies. Corrpro has complete construction installation services, including crews and equipment to install any cathodic protection system for any type of structure.WHAT YOU’RE RESPONSIBLE FOR:Plan and perform more complex engineering duties for oil and gas, utilities and public works projectsReview preliminary data, discuss objectives and expectations, and suggest appropriate engineering methods and proceduresPrepare engineering designs and reports and direct preparation of field drawingsAssist in cost estimation and detailed proposal developmentPlan and schedule activities for efficient utilization of resourcesCoordinate engineering aspects of installation processCoordinate material and subcontractor procurement servicesSupervise and/or perform tests required to determine environmental conditions of soil and waterSupervise and participate in post installation surveyCoordinate interference testing and bonding required with client and affected companiesEnsure proper application of methods and procedures, modify as appropriatePerform economic evaluations of alternative methods of cathodic protection and corrosion controlQUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in Electrical, Chemical, Materials Engineering or related field requiredPEng requiredAMPP / NACE CP Technician or Technologist Certification5 years corrosion / cathodic protection experienceMust have strong project management with ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and problem-solving skillsMust be able to mentor and lead junior team membersMust have valid driver’s license with a good standing drivers abstractWHAT YOU STAND TO GAIN:As a PEOPLE POWERED Cathodic Protection company, you can rest assured you will have the opportunity to work with the best in the industry At Corrpro we care and take pride in investing in our people, which is why we offer programs, such as Company-sponsored training with potential BONUS opportunities upon completionCompetitive wages and benefits planWays to save for your future with a competitive employer matching RRSP program Paid time off Along with Banked Time options Resources to improve your health and well-being, including a comprehensive benefits plan, Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and fitness club membership discounts across CanadaWe care about work-life balance and some roles are even eligible for work-from-home optionsThe list goes on ..... valuable experience, career growth, a supportive work environment, and a chance to make a real impact.
