Gymnastics Saskatchewan’s is looking for a dynamic, innovative, and visionary leader to fill the position of CEO. The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is responsible for the successful leadership, management, and delivery of the programs, services, policies, and initiatives supporting Gym Sask’s strategic direction and ongoing operations. The CEO is expected to manage the organization’s human and financial resources effectively and in a responsible manner, using strong leadership, financial, administrative, communication, and people skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Post secondary degree in a related field.
  • 5+ years’ experience in a leadership/management role in the non‐profit sector with preference for
  • experience in the sport sector.
  • Excellent communicator, collaborator, and relationship builder.
  • Proven financial and governance acumen and experience is required.
  • Gymnastics experience would be an asset.

About Gymnastics Saskatchewan

Gymnastics Saskatchewan is one of the largest and most respected provincial sport organizations in Saskatchewan with over 16,000 individual participants plus 20,000 outside user group/associate member individuals in 55 member clubs.

We are the provincial sport organization responsible for the governance and development of gymnastics in Saskatchewan. We support and govern Saskatchewan gymnastics programming in all the FIG (International Gymnastics Federation) disciplines – Gymnastics For All (GFA), Men’s Artistic Gymnastics (MAG), Women’s Artistic Gymnastics (WAG), Trampoline Gymnastics (TG), Rhythmic Gymnastics (RG), Acrobatic Gymnastics (ACRO), Aerobic Gymnastics (AERO), Parkour Gymnastics (PARKOUR). Established in 1975 as a non‐profit association under the auspices of the Sask Corporations Branch and Sask Sport, Gymnastics Saskatchewan provides support and services to its member clubs.
