Our team has an immediate 12-month contract opening for a Senior Engineer.

Our cloud-based middleware team is currently seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for researching, architecting, designing, and implementing our next generation of cloud-based middleware.

  • Propose and implement quick prototypes to validate technology or architectural choices, with interactions with customers or prospects as needed. Strong hands-on ability is a must
  • Design and implementation of complex development projects independently
  • Evaluate and recommend open-source tools and new technologies applied to existing cloud service products
  • Review and contribute to product documentation and product user interface design. Provide general technical training to new developers, support engineers and sales engineers when needed
  • Lead and supervise junior software engineers when needed

What you’ll bring to the team:

  • C/C++ programming experience
  • Experience with system profiling and performance optimization
  • Familiarity with OpenStack open-source software will be an asset
  • Highly innovative DNA with extreme passion and ability to create, design and implement creative and ground-breaking ideas
  • Successful and proven experience in working in a software development team
  • Can serve as an anchor in solving the most complex technical problems
  • Have strong self-research capability, passionately and self-driving in learning new technology/product quickly
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to interact with both internal and external people
  • Master and above degree or extensive research background is an asset
  • Seek out and welcome new challenges is an asset
