Full-Stack Developer with a focus on UI/UX Development and DesigningOur client, a large and well-established technology company for the Oil and Gas Services industry is looking for a full stack developer with an aptitude for front end, UI/UX, web development. This person will need to have extensive Front-End Dev skills using common tools such as HTML5, CSS, Javascript, ASP .net, bootstrap, SQL Server and Zoho Creator (Zoho is not mandatory). We would love to have someone with extensive experience using Zoho Creator to build apps (a low-code app generation tool), and ideally with experience using Deluge as the main scripting language used in Zoho. Zoho and deluge experience are not mandatory.Any experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js, or Zoho will be helpful.One major assignment coming up is to rework clunky applications. Therefore we are looking for someone who really understands building software with the user in mind and the whole concept of UX / User Experience.MUST HAVE Skills:Front-End dev skills using HTML5, CSS, JavaScriptBootstrapASP .netSoftware Development skills with good knowledge of the SDLCSQL Server and strong overall SQL skillsNice-to-Have Skills:Experience using Zoho Creator for web developmentDeluge scripting language used in ZohoFull-Stack development using the Microsoft toolset (C# .net, ASP.net, etc).Previous experience and interest in working as a technical team leaderZoho Creator – We would prefer someone with experience with Zoho Creator experience but this is not necessary.This person will need to know SQL Server as information is fed from SQL Server into Zoho, then used to populate SQL tables.Example of upcoming tasks:This person will be tasked with optimizing large apps built in Zoho as they are currently clunky and don’t flow efficiently. These apps are used internally by the company and include core applications used daily by internal users. Therefore, we are looking for someone who deeply understands how to build software starting with understanding the user experience. This person will act as a technical mentor to the 4 more junior members of the current Zoho team. Growth opportunities include moving into a formal Team Lead role in the near term.The first preference is to have someone work onsite, but we will consider someone who will work on a hybrid model. Offices in SE Calgary.There is a possibility of this role to be done on a contract basis.
