Ontario Government Client is actively seeking a System Analyst. As a System Analyst, where is your expertise in coding languages, quality assurance, and technical writing will drive impactful projects. With a foundation in project management and exceptional communication skills, you'll lead the analysis, design, and implementation of system solutions. Bring your innovative mindset and collaborative spirit to the forefront, contributing to the advancement of public service initiatives.
Note: The candidate is present on-site for three days each week.
Must Haves:
Proficiency in coding languages with a focus on quality assurance (QA) and technical writing.
Some project management knowledge complemented by strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Criteria:
Technical Skills:
Provides specialized expertise in analyzing system design and architecture.
Leads the development and documentation of systems solutions, ensuring alignment with project goals.
Manages technical aspects of projects, including resource planning, monitoring progress, and providing updates to management.
Experience in leading teams supporting databases for effective planning and forecasting.
Proficient in designing and developing complex applications utilizing relational and multi-dimensional databases.
Oversees research and evaluation of technical components for software and hardware acquisition.
Analysis Skills:
Guides testing, integration, and implementation of systems solutions.
Conducts feasibility studies and cost-effective analyses for client initiatives.
Translates business requirements into technical specifications and provides implementation support.
Recommends improvements in tools, techniques, and standards for application development.
Provides coaching to junior analysts throughout the project lifecycle.
Communication Skills:
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Proven track record in building effective working relationships.
Desirable Skills:
Knowledge and experience in rapid application development (RAD) methodologies.
Familiarity with middleware and gateways.
Understanding of Information Management principles and practices.
Proficiency in documentation maintenance and multidimensional structures.
