This role emphasizes hands-on AI development and requires extensive collaboration with the Director of AI on coding standards, application architecture, and leveraging advanced tools to drive development. Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with operators and management to gather requirements
- Build internal applications that automate manual processes
- Embed AI functionalities for decision support and document processing
- Utilize AI tools like Claude Code and Copilot for development
- Establish foundational architecture and reusable components
- 7+ years in software development with production experience
- Strong proficiency in Python and modern web frameworks
- Hands-on experience with LLM APIs and prompt engineering
- Familiarity with relational databases and REST/GraphQL APIs
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with stakeholders
