Within GR&S, theEnterprise Security and Fraud(ES&F) sub-division is responsible for the global protection of Vanguard crew, property, data, and client assets. We are the trusted advisors that protect the pride of Vanguard with state-of-the-art security and fraud capabilities.

In this role, you will:

  • Plan and implement new security technologies and major releases for the most critical enterprise-wide IT cloud platform projects. Design, implement, and deploy cloud security systems to support and meet business needs. Identify, recommend, and implement opportunities for improvement and performance issue solutions.
  • Provide technical support and ensures reliable operation of cloud production. Diagnose and troubleshoot the complex issues for cloud computing systems. Contribute to the implementation of leading security technologies in infrastructure to improve its overall performance. Maintain comprehensive technical knowledge of software and infrastructure platforms.
  • Develop architecture to manage cloud computing environments.
  • Elevate code into the development, test, and production environments on schedule. Provide follow up production support. Submits change control requests and documents.
  • Learn and understand client area business functions and requirements. Determine the appropriate technical tool to address the client's business needs.
  • Administer system activities. Write the technical portion of assigned deliverables. Perform systems analysis, including system requirements analysis and definition, and logical design.

What it takes

  • Minimum of eight years related work experience.
  • Undergraduate degree in a related field or the equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Proficient with Python, Java and/or other languages
  • Experienced with building automated solutions on AWS, particularly through use of Cloud Formation Templates (CFT's), Terraform and creating Infrastructure as Code via CI/CD
