Ontario Government Client is actively seeking a Specialized IT Consultant. As a Specialized IT Consultant, where you have experience in database administration, EBS configuration, and troubleshooting. Collaborate with diverse teams, ensure seamless transitions, and uphold industry standards for optimal performance. It's a unique opportunity to drive impactful change within a dynamic environment.

Note: The candidate is present on-site for three days each week.

Criteria:

• Technical Knowledge and Experience:

  • Hands-on experience in EBS Upgrade, particularly from 12.1.3 to R12.2.10

  • Proficiency in Cross-platform database and EBS migration

  • Expertise in configuring EBS with SSO, including Webgate and Access gate

  • Database Administration skills with database 19c, ASM/RAC, RU DB & Grid Patching

  • Competence in EBS Administration tasks such as Patching, Cloning, Java, and concurrent manager troubleshooting

  • Experience in Weblogic installation, administration, and Patching

  • Familiarity with Apache configuration, TLS 1.2, JWS

• Methodology, Testing, and Troubleshooting:

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

  • Experience in agile development environments

  • Ability to provide comprehensive user and system documentation

  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams to manage risks and issues

  • Promotion of industry standards and best practices

  • Conducting thorough code reviews and ensuring software quality

  • Support for developers, testers, and end-users in defect resolution

• Planning, Documentation, and Communication:

  • Preparation of work plans and reporting to CYSSC Managers

  • Writing technical documentation for architecture explanation

  • Conducting knowledge transfer sessions for the team on completed work
