We envision, develop and manage technology to connect the world. We look at the business environment and technologies in new and challenging ways, striving to develop and deliver integrated whole-system solutions to meet our customers’ ever-changing needs.
We are owning several core aspects of Vonage’s engineering capabilities and product domains, mainly in the areas of messaging and video conferencing. We are developing and owning the messaging and meetings capabilities in our UC (Unified Communications) product called VBC (Vonage Business Communication) while also owning customer side notifications.
These days, we are also working on creating omni channel chat capabilities that are going to be used across the entire organization in various different products. The teams are working end to end on all aspects of the product - from UI to backend and DevOps and on to maintaining the stack.
You’ll build a brand new development team that will take upon itself more and more of VBC’s messaging and meetings capabilities over time. This includes developing new features, enhancing existing features, maintaining the stack and overall owning the domains technically while also working with the rest of the stakeholders such as product managers, project managers and so on… You will ensure efficient delivery at high quality. we're a community that thrives on collaboration, creativity, and, most importantly, having a good time together.
Leading, developing and managing similar or larger development teams delivering a software product to customers
# Expertise as a fullstack software engineer of large scale complex software systems with at least 5 years of experience with technologies such as Java, Nodejs, Relational and Non-relational databases, Vuejs and Cloud
# Working closely with cross-functional teams such as Development, Operations, and Product Management to ensure seamless integration of new features and services with a focus on reliability, scalability, and performance
# Managing a team producing measurable delivery of software in a timely and high-quality manner
# Leading delivery cycles and working with multiple releases with agile methodologies in a service or SaaS environment
# Developing and implementing strategies to improve system reliability, scalability, and performance while aligning with the company's overall goals and objectives
# Helping others can only be achieved with the right people and the right resources. Possibility to influence technical stack
