The Clinical Director is responsible for ensuring that clinical programs and services meet regulatory standards, align with organizational goals, and consistently exceed patient expectations.
Developing and implementing policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of clinical services.
Ensuring that all clinical programs and services meet regulatory requirements and adhere to best practices in healthcare delivery.
Monitoring clinical outcomes and quality indicators and implementing corrective actions as needed to maintain high standards of care.
Developing and managing the clinical department budget and ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently and effectively.
Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related field, or alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline with a combination of related work experience.
~7-10 years of progressive leadership and management experience in a clinical environment.
~ Proficient in financial and organizational management including change management, negotiation, business planning, proposal writing, program assessment, policy creation, and fundraising.
~ Proven track record in strategic and operational planning, finance, risk management, and quality improvement efforts.
~ Experience collaborating with community partners, government entities, and other stakeholders.
~ Understanding of legislation and provincial policies.
~ Demonstrated ability to cultivate diverse and respectful relationships, fostering a culture of inclusion and equity.
