Staffinity is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer for a client located in the Windsor area. This is a permanent position with hourly rate, bonus, benefits, and RRSP matching. There will be regular local travel and 1 week away roughly every 6 months. The ideal candidate will have experience with facilities design.
Design and Development of schematics.
Facilities design including lighting layouts, SLD, power distribution, load calculations, and panel schedules.
Create comprehensive technical specifications, conduct thorough analysis, and define rigorous testing requirements that underpin the design process.
Offer hands-on support during the build process, ensuring that your designs are translated into functional equipment accurately.
System Integration and Testing
Build strong relationships with suppliers and sub-contractors.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technologist diploma.
~6 years+ experience of electrical design experience.
~ Experience working with an Engineering Consulting firm strongly preferred.
~ Instrumentation and control experience considered an asset.
~ Strong experience in 2D and 3D AutoCAD is a must.
~ Proficiency in Revit required.
~ Experience in BIM 360 and Inventor.
~ Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office Software.
~ Must have superior time management skills and the ability to multi-task with multiple projects.
~ A valid driver’s license with a good driving record is required.
~ Must be eligible to obtain a work permit in the United States.
