As SCADA Software Manager , you will oversee and manage critical aspects of delivery and support related to SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) and other DER related software systems. You will be a “quarterback” for DER asset onboarding into Rodan’s control and monitoring systems, support and coordinate projects and innovative technology introductions and ensure operations excellence. This position requires a blend of technical knowledge, strategic thinking, and effective leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of engineers and analysts
  • Develop process and procedures to ensure smooth, efficient and repeatable DER site onboarding and support operations
  • Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of DER system projects, with a particular focus on the Rodan SCADA Software systems and asset optimization software
  • Manage and provide technical software support and troubleshoot issues related to SCADA/communication systems and their components
  • Implement monitoring systems to track DER system performance
  • Evaluate system performance, efficiency and reliability
  • Analyze data to identify trends, anomalies, and optimization opportunities
  • Mitigate risks related to DER operation, cybersecurity, and grid stability
  • Develop contingency plans for system failures
  • Prepare budgets for DER projects
  • Monitor expenses and ensure cost-effective solutions
  • Provide support to Sales including the identification of solution components and cost estimates for DER opportunities

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or University Degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields
  • 3+ years of experience in project management of SCADA software implementation and support
  • Relevant certifications such as PMP are advantageous
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • SCADA software, particularly Inductive Automation Ignition
  • Ability to foster a collaborative and innovative work environment

You will be required to work at our Corporate HQ office in Mississauga a minimum of 2 days per week in addition to attending and participating in workshops, projects, or team meetings.
