About the RoleWe are seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Student to join our World Class Manufacturing team for a contract term (April 2024 - October 2024). The student will be assisting with writing Standardized Work Instruction.
Your Responsibilities- Perform time studies using an Observation Preparation Sheet and analyzing using a Manual Observation Time Sheet.
- Create and analyze Standardized Work Combination Table, Standardized Work Chart, and Work Balance Table.
- Understand Process Stability/Repeatability – consistently meet productivity, quality, cost, lead time, safety, and environmental targets.
- Audits identify weakness/problems in manufacturing and prioritize them.
- Develop standard work by operators for operators and engage employees and involve them.
- Reducing variation to achieve process stability for continuous improvements initiatives.
Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering student at an accredited College or University. Manufacturing experience preferred.
