Capital Paving is looking to hire an experienced Truck & Heavy Construction Equipment Mechanic to join our fleet management team.
*Start Date:* Immediately.
*Reporting To: *Fleet & Shop Manager.
*Positions Available:* One (1) Full Time.
*Maintain and repair heavy-duty construction vehicles and equipment (includes trucks, trailers, large & small machinery)
· Perform duties in our shop, yard, or construction jobsites as required.
· Truck or Heavy Equipment Mechanic, with experience. (310T apprentices will be considered.
· Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair faults for diesel systems, electrical components, air brakes, hydraulic systems, engine & driveline.
· Previous experience in the construction industry and working around heavy equipment would be considered an asset.
· Valid driver’s license. AZ or DZ license would be considered an asset.
· Welding and fabricating skills would be valuable assets.
· 10-hour shifts Monday-Friday, with the occasional opportunity for Saturday work.
· Overtime paid after 10 hours, Saturday and Sunday shifts.
· 00 + per hour for licensed technicians) Negotiable with skills and experience.
· Company matched pension after 1 year of service.
