Exceptional client service is in our DNA and must be demonstrated in all of our encounters with our clients from initial contact through a sales proposal to implementation and ongoing support.POSITION OVERVIEW:The Acumatica Pre-sales Consultant is a vital role within the company and the first exposure future clients have to our firm and to Acumatica. This individual will report directly to the CEO and collaborate with the Sales and Marketing Team, the Services Team, as well as current and prospective clients. The Pre-Sales Consultant will support the Sales and Marketing Team in reviewing client requirements, delivering compelling product demonstrations to prospective clients, and assisting existing clients in exploring additional features in Acumatica..They will assist the Sales activities through client/prospect discovery sessions, scoping, designing & providing estimates.. Additionally, they will work directly with the Marketing team to create Acumatica functionality videos for use in our marketing efforts and for client support.The Pre-Sales Consultant will provide internal presentations on Acumatica functionality to Services Team members and will provide advice to Service Team members on implementation challenges related to product functionality.Working with the CEO, the Pre-Sales Consultant will be responsible for researching and developing new offerings for the firm and assisting the CEO to evaluate the marketing, sales, and implementation requirements for new initiatives.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Achieve and maintain expert level knowledge of core Acumatica finance and distribution software modules.Provide product demonstrations illustrating how Acumatica addresses prospective client requirements.Utilize Selling Through Curiosity discovery techniques to identify and clarify requirements which may not have been explained by the prospective clients.Work with CEO, sales, and services teams to design solutions that satisfy client requirements and are practically deliverable.Deliver demonstrations in a friendly and engaging manner that encourages attendees to clearly see how Caron and Acumatica can address their requirements and assist them to achieve their goals.Develop standard, repeatable demos for standard functionality.Review features offered in new releases of Acumatica, preparing overview videos and lead webinars.Arrange for expert participation from Acumatica or third-party suppliers when required to address complex requirements and ensure these presenters understand and deliver the high-level presentation required by our firm.Provide clear notes and details for transition of closed sales to the Services Team.Ensure that targets for sales and marketing goals are met by achieving specific goals and objectives.ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Maintain confidentiality regarding the information being processed, stored, or accessed by the network.Occasional evening and/or weekend work, consistent with the requirements of potential clients.Travel to and from client sites (local or out of town), as required.Perform additional duties, as required.REVENUE GENERATION:The Acumatica Pre-Sales Consultant is engaged directly in the sales efforts of the firm and will have a profound influence on the success of sales proposals to potential and existing clients. When the duties of the position are carried out well, sales will be closed, and implementations will be successful. This will drive revenue for the firm and will contribute to the success of our clients.
