The Financial Analyst shall be responsible for assisting the Canada Controller-Envelope division with the management of overall financial operations of Supremex Inc., and will work with the controller to provide accurate information to Management, including analysis, budgeting, forecasting and preparing financial reports. The Financial Analyst will aid the Controller in directing and managing the company's accounting functions, including establishing and maintaining accounting principles, practices, and procedures, preparing financial statements and reporting to top management and externally. The Financial Analyst will also maintain the company's accounting systems and implement changes as required by the Controller. ResponsibilitiesThe Financial Analyst is responsible for maintaining and managing the local Financial and Cost Costing Accounting functions, which include:The results of completed jobs to identify input errors and other anomalies as revealed in variances between actual and estimated costInventory adjustments as neededAudit inquiries and data/documentation requestsInventory is performed monthlyMonth-end Journal Entries are completedQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA designation is an asset)3-5 years experience in a manufacturing environment.Advanced knowledge of ExcelNOTE: This job description in no ways states or implies that these are the only responsibilities of this position.
