We are a people-business with a strong focus on safety. We are currently seeking a qualified *HVAC Controls Technician *for our *Oshawa, ON* location.

* Casual dress-code;
* Understand HVAC controls systems schematics, control wiring, control components, and HVAC systems;
* Read wiring diagrams to determine proper terminations to mechanical equipment;
* Assist in testing and startup of building automation systems;
* Utilize pneumatic systems to diagnose air system controls;
* PLC programming in RS logics and/or Adam Bradley to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair wiring, hardware, software, and communication problems;
* Load, test, and tune system databases;
* Testing of automatic programming sequence;
* Install, replace, and recommission control systems devices, equipment, and software;
* Document and maintain test records and as-built documentation;
* Some experience in the electrical trade is required;
* 2 years of experience in PLC programing ( Allen Bradley- RS-logix, PLC-5,PLC-3, SLC and be able to troubleshoot;
* 2 years of experience/knowledge of HVAC Pneumatics;
* knowledge or willingness to learn about HVAC controls trade;
* Experience with computer networking is preferred;
* Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude;
* Valid Driver’s License;
* Monday to Friday: Day shift - 6:30 am to 3pm;
* Weekends and overtime as required.
