Now, if you were to come on board as one of our Sr. Manager, Retail Data Analytics, we’d ask you to do the following for us:This role focus on data insights related analytics on large complex internal and external data sets to find patterns and correlations from various sources in order to identify opportunities for sales growth.Oversees reporting of retail sales related KPI metrics to present relevant data insights to key stakeholders company wideProvide meaningful insights to drive profitable retail growth through retail sales analytics by product type categories and marketsAnalytics regarding promotions & marketing campaigns, participate in pre-promotion strategic planning phase and lead post promotion scorecard phaseAnalysis of market data, which reflects current and future states, trends, opportunities and challenges. Understand how changes in retail, food services, economy and consumer perceptions / buying patterns drive participationThink you have what it takes to be our Sr. Manager, Retail Data Analytics? Here’s how we’ll know you’ll be successful in the role:Degree in Business or related. 5+ years of experience in retail / marketing related data analyticsStrong quantitative skills and experience with data mining related analytics; Understanding and experience with: consumer research, digital, social media, excel. Coding knowledge with Python and SQL are preferredCritical thinker – ability to challenge the norm and offer healthy skepticism, imagination, and capable of thinking outside the box to identify opportunities to drive sales growthEffective and engaging communicator – ability to articulate complex business cases in a simple, effective and influential manner to convey recommendations to senior leadership teamAttention to details, able to identify and exclude anomalies in the data sets givenEntrepreneurial spirit – proactive; self-motivated; inquisitive; persistent; A ‘can-do’ creative and outgoing personality
