KMH Cardiology Centres Inc. is recruiting for a Patient Care Coordinator/Lab Technician (PCC) for our busy specialist physician practices in Hamilton and Burlington. The successful candidate will be a part of a team of 14 members with the goal of facilitating patient intake through timely and high quality and administrative care for KMH patients. Patient Intake: clinic/in person and virtual
- Coordination of daily clinic operations
- Inform and educate patients about tests and procedures as requested by physician
- Process prescription renewal requests as directed by physician in collaboration with administrative staff within 24 business hours
- Optimize clinic capacity
- Utilize Tableau daily to facilitate KPI attainment
- Foster a collegial, respectful clinic environment
- High standards of quality and optimal management of patient care outcomes
*Graduate of an approved Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent
- Lab Technician (certified)
- Medical administration experience
*Proven ability to work proficiently in a busy fast paced specialist clinic environment
- Phlebotomy experience is an asset
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology
- Good telephone manner
- Proficiency in technology including MS Office and EMR systems experience

The Lab Technician team takes pride in our patient focused environment and works very closely with other service and clinical teams at KMH.
This is a full-time role scheduled for 5 days (37.Monday-Friday.* Saturday’s are required on rotation with the team for 1-2 times per month.
The role is based at our Hamilton and Burlington labs. Only candidates selected for an initial virtual video interview will be contacted. Job Type: Full-time
