*Job description*
Super Save is looking for a full-time Propane Dispatcher to work in our Surrey BC Location. The ideal candidate must be an excellent communicator and must be able to multi-task as well as take appropriate action with little supervision.
*Required Skills*
· Experience as a Dispatcher (Preference is given to TDG certifications)
· Safety and technical knowledge, with the ability to respond effectively to emergencies.
· Ability to multi-task with strong organization skills and flexible nature, given an environment of constant change.
· Knowledge of Hours-of-service and working knowledge of applicable provincial regulation with respect to propane and fuels activities, as well as Ministry of Transportation and Employment Standards as it relates specifically to the trucking and transportation of dangerous goods.
· Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills.
· Excellent communication and time management skills.
· Working knowledge of Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
· Sound geographical knowledge of the Lower Mainland.
· Exceptional customer care.
*Job Duties*
· Basic knowledge of route planning and the ability to create routes for drivers.
· Monitor the progress and execution of the work plans and adjust schedules accordingly, to maximize operational efficiencies.
· Accomplish organizations goals by accepting ownership of tasks relating to daily operations; explore opportunities to add value and efficiency.
· Provide feedback on day-to-day operations; immediately report safety, performance and attendance issues or successes.
· Promote adherence to relevant regulatory and safety requirements and internal standards.
· Monitor and report on propane inventory levels.
· Verify accuracy of driver paperwork.
· Scheduling of equipment and drivers.
