It’s an exciting time to be part of the Give & Go team as we are growing and want you to become a part our extraordinarily bright futureAs the Environmental & Sustainability Specialist you will be responsible for providing leadership, support and technical expertise to continuously improve the effectiveness of the site(s) Environmental and Sustainability program, in accordance with company stated targets and applicable legislations and company standards.Key Responsibilities:Environmental and Sustainability compliance Projects initiatives with external vendors/contractors and internal stakeholders.Environmental project records to demonstrate regulatory and G&G Management System compliance.Project related site tours, meetings and other activities.Implementation of Environmental policies and programs to improve the current processes and environmental standards of the company.Report on plants performance in meeting Environmental targets.Development of the G&G Environmental Management System.Develop policies, procedures, work instructions and communications that align with G&G Environmental objectives and targets.Support training needs, co-ordinate, and conduct Environmental training for sites.Improve the Environmental program through analyzing metrics and data, determining risk, and creating/implementing policies & activities for positive change, including external networking to develop best practice.Development, maintenance and implementation of the corporate and site-specific Environmental programs as directed by the Environmental manager with minimal oversight.Help reduce the company carbon footprint.Maintaining Environmental databases, communications, and monthly reporting requirements for all G&G sites.Support Environmental related audits and inspections.Recipe for Success:Completion of a university degree in Environmental Science, Engineering or a related field.3 year(s) of Environmental and Sustainability experience, preferably in the Food Manufacturing industry.Experience supporting projects to build and execute the organization’s Environmental strategy and cultureWhat We Offer:Values of Quality, Direct Communication and Respect mean something.We are growing, we are committed to preserve our diversity & culture that is unique, people focused and are the core to our success at every size.Flexible work arrangements and the opportunity to work remotelyGrowth; we are working to create an environment were sharing new ideas, experimenting, and learning from each other is strongly encouraged.“Great people, baking great products, for a great future.”Interested and qualified candidates are invited to apply directly or submit their resume to careers@giveandgo.com.
