We’re looking for a Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in a ircraft structures to join our team integrating and certifying advanced remote sensing equipment for manned and unmanned platforms. You’ll design, analyze, and substantiate structural installations, ensuring compliance with TCCA and FAA regulations. To learn more about our project: Here is our video presentation : As well as our website : Tasks and Responsibilities Design and develop mounts, enclosures, and provisions for airborne sensors. Perform structural analysis (hand calcs & FEA) for loads, vibration, fatigue, and damage tolerance. Prepare substantiation reports and certification artifacts for STC or equivalent approvals. Support environmental qualification (DO‑160) and flight test activities. Collaborate with avionics, systems, and certification teams to meet airworthiness requirements. What We Are Looking For Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering. 5+ years in aerospace mechanical design and structural analysis. Experience with CAD (SolidWorks/CATIA/NX) and FEA tools (ANSYS/NASTRAN). Familiarity with FAA/TCCA regulations and DO‑160 testing. Strong technical writing and documentation skills. Composite design experience. (Prefered requirement) Previous STC or certification program involvement. Nous recherchons un(e) ingénieur(e) mécanique possédant une solide expérience en structures aéronautiques pour se joindre à notre équipe responsable de l’intégration et de la certification d’équipements avancés de télédétection sur des plateformes habitées et non habitées. Vous serez responsable de concevoir, analyser et justifier des installations structurales tout en assurant leur conformité aux réglementations de Transports Canada et de la FAA. Réaliser des analyses structurales (calculs manuels et éléments finis) portant sur les charges, les vibrations, la fatigue et la tolérance aux dommages. Préparer les rapports de justification et les documents de certification requis pour les STC ou approbations équivalentes. Soutenir les activités de qualification environnementale (DO-160) ainsi que les essais en vol. Collaborer avec les équipes d’avionique, de systèmes et de certification afin de répondre aux exigences de navigabilité. Profil recherché Diplôme en génie mécanique ou en génie aéronautique. Plus de 5 ans d’expérience en conception mécanique aéronautique et en analyse structurale. Expérience avec des outils de CAO (SolidWorks/CATIA/NX) et des logiciels d’analyse par éléments finis (ANSYS/NASTRAN). Connaissance des réglementations de la FAA et de Transports Canada, ainsi que des essais DO-160. Excellentes compétences en rédaction technique et en documentation. Expérience en conception de composites (atout important). Participation antérieure à des programmes de STC ou de certification (atout important).
