Keep on reading to learn moreSalary: Based on experienceAbout youTo be successful, you should have:1+ years of experience practicing litigation lawCalled to the Bar in Ontario and in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.Demonstrated experience in handling various stages of litigation proceedings.Strong research, analytical, and writing skills.Effective communication and negotiation abilities.Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Commitment to professionalism, integrity, and client service excellence.About the roleYour responsibilities will include:Research cases, identify issues, develop strategiesDraft legal docs for court proceedings —pleadings, motions, affidavits, etc.Represent clients in court, trials, arbitrations, and mediationsConduct examinations, cross-examinationsNegotiate settlements and ADR processes.Build relationships with clients, experts, and lawyers.Provide ongoing legal advice, guidance, and interest protectionStay updated on legal changes, trendsManage caseload prioritizing tasksUphold ethical standards and confidentialityPerks & BenefitsComprehensive health benefits (medical & dental)Life insurance, Long-Term Disability benefit (LTD)Employee Assistance ProgramGenerous PTO (paid time off)and moreApplied to this job already?
