Check out northwest.ca for more information.Your Role:Develop needs analysis and assess skill gaps to determine learning requirementsDesign, develop, evaluate and maintain in-house learning and development programsCollaborate with subject matter experts to assess needs and to create training materialsBuild, upload and maintain internal and external courses to the LMSManage delivery of training in non-LMS solutionsCollaborate with Operations to deliver and assess curriculum for key programs such as Management in Training and frontline associatesCollaborate with business partners to develop and maintain store training and support toolsCollaborate with the Recruitment team to design and support onboarding programs;Facilitate or co-facilitate learning programs as requiredRemain current on latest learning and development trends and best practicesDesired Skills & Experience:Minimum 3 years of related experience in analyzing, designing, developing, implementing and evaluating blended learning programsCertificate in Adult Education (e.g. CAE, CACE/PDAL), Instructional Design, eLearning or equivalent an assetStrong working knowledge of design and authoring software such as Adobe suite and Articulate 360Strong written communication skills and technical writing experienceExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staffRelationship building skills to establish partnerships with internal customers, experts, stakeholdersExperience working on multiple priorities in a deadline driven environmentStrong organizational, planning and time management skillsExperience with systems such as learning management systemsFundamental understanding of project managementUnderstanding of retail and/or grocery operations an assetExperience working with diverse culturesAbility to speak a second language (French, Spanish, Indigenous language) an asset; andAbility to travel as required.Location: NWC Training Centre - 657 Century Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba (on-site)Reports to: Manager, People Development (Learning Design)We create a collaborative and constructive culture by:Being Enterprising • Committing to our Customer • Working with Passion • Leading and Developing Others • Demonstrating Respect and Inclusivity • Building TrustThe North West Company is committed to inclusion and diversity and encourages applications from all candidates including but not limited to: all religions and ethnicities, LGBTQ2s+, BIPOC, and persons with disabilities.You may include your resume and cover letter together as a single document.
