This is an opportunity to be a part of Zavida Coffee Companys legacy—40 years strong and still brewing excitement.Job Description: The President is responsible for driving the success of the organization through exemplary leadership of the management team and delivery of the business plan.Responsibilities:Strategy and PlanningAccountable for business leadership and delivery of the Annual Business PlanPush for continuous improvements across all direct and supporting businesses and functionsInvolvement in developing and executing the 3-5-year business plan to ensure sustained profitable growth performance and clarity of direction and objectives for each functionEnsure collaborative planning with onsite production and capital expenditure requirements and offsite production facilitiesEnsure application of established corporate financial and internal controls by providing direction and support to the implementation and maintenance of policies, instructions, and internal control proceduresEnsure project management tools are maintained and key deadlines are met throughout the organizationMake key decisions based on input brought forward by management team, Board of Directors and ChairmanExplore and assist with acquisition, investment, and partnership opportunitiesBusiness Management Lead and facilitate the effective management of all activities and resources including Marketing, Sales, Operations, Finance, IT, Quality Assurance, and Human ResourcesSupport in the development of plans to achieve long term business goals including branding, positioning, and customer managementOversee monthly and annual financial reporting and forecasts, identifying variances and opportunitiesSafeguard Company brand framework ensuring positive evolution is maintainedOversee the development of product positioning, packaging and pricing strategies to produce the highest possible long-term market shareEvaluate and advise on supplier, customer, legal and other contractsMaintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Board of Directors and other key partnersLeadership, People, CultureBe a role model for Zavida in Values, Behaviors, Ethics and Compliance and SafetyLead, work with and oversee the management team including Sales, Operations, Human Resources, Marketing, Quality Assurance, IT and FinanceIdentify, develop & foster strategic relationships that complement the activities of ZavidaCommunicate and maintain Zavida’s mission, vision and valuesEnsure Zavida has a compelling recruitment and retention strategy and assist with key succession planningDrive a high performing team through strong leadership, open feedback and clear directivesMaintain a customer, quality, consistency and employee first mentalityRequirements:Post-secondary university educationExcellent leadership and decision-making skillsAbility to inspire peopleClear understanding of the future of the company and ability to plan, strategize and executeInnovative and entrepreneurialExtensive executive management experience, ideally within the CPG industryExcellent financial and operational working knowledgeExcellent communication skills (customers, management team, board members) and a high relatability with employees and other stakeholders of companies.High level of emotional intelligenceAble to handle stress and to work in high growth work environmentsStrong understanding of technology as it relates to manufacturing and ecommerceUniversity degreeA minimum of 4 years relevant business experience in insights or analytics fieldExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong business acumen.
