Akkodis is partnered with a global software & service company who specializes in telecommunications and media to recruit an Automation Test Engineer to join a growing team here in Toronto. As part of the testing team, you will be responsible for setting up automation frameworks for various devices including Android, iOS, Web, and TVs, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to manage backlogs and provide status reports. At least 3+ years of Automation testing experience in Device and web automation on different devicesHands-on experience with Java, Appium, Selenium, Git, Jenkins, API, SQL, and troubleshootingSetup Automation framework for Device automation and automate different types of devices including Android, iOS, Web, TVsDebug and troubleshoot automation issuesCollaborate with Product Owners and manual testing team to set up backlogProvide regular status reportsNice-to-haves: Background in Automation developmentProficiency in Mobile app and Web AutomationAbility to develop and implement IT strategy and plansFamiliarity with DevOps principles, CI/CD pipeline, working with GitLab, Jenkins, etc.If you are interested in learning more or if you would like to discuss any other Test Automation / Device Testing related roles, don't hesitate to apply today
