Reftek Systems Inc. is seeking a dynamic person to join our teamReftek Systems Inc. is a world renowned Seismic equipment company that designs and manufactures Seismic systems for monitoring the effects of earthquakes. Reftek products are used the world over in structural monitoring and hazard mitigation. This is a permanent full-time position, reporting directly to the VP of Finance. It is expected that the time split between the two functions will be 60% accounting and 40% marketing. The ideal candidate possesses a positive attitude, a drive to succeed, and is adaptable to the continuing change of a growing company. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for: · Accounts Receivable Management – Invoicing, Collections, Customer Maintenance, etc· Accounts Payables Management – Entering/Reconciling Bills, Issuing payments, Vendor Maintenance, etc· Bank and Credit Card Reconciliation· Select Month End Journal Entries and Account Reconciliations· Purchasing of Office supplies· General administrative support (filing, maintaining records, etc.)· Other accounting project work as needed As a Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for:· Assist with campaigns to raise awareness of our products· Assist in content creation· Create website news releases · Gather market research on competitors and opportunities· Support sales team with trade shows and travel· Manage Social Media accounts Requirements: · Post-secondary education in business or accounting· Experience in a similar role / roles considered as asset · Working proficiency with MS Excel and ability to use other MS Office applications · Positive, flexible, and adaptable work ethic· Comfortable using technology with the ability to learn new systems and processes quickly· Ability to work efficiently in an independent role while supporting the larger team· Detail oriented individual with strong organizational skills.· Effective communication and interpersonal skills.· Time management skills with ability to meet deadlines.· Experience with Netsuite or other ERP systems considered an asset.· Experience with multi-currency accounting considered an asset · Experience with Purchase Orders considered an asset What we offer: · Competitive salary · Discretionary annual bonus based on the performance· 50% employer paid Health and Dental Plan· Flexible time To apply, please submit your resume to Alex Prosukov, VP of Finance at alex@reftek.com.
