Markets Data Controls Lead: On behalf of our Financial Services client, Procom is searching for a Markets Data Controls Lead for an 11 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Mississauga office.

Markets Data Controls Lead - Job Description:
The Markets Data Controls Lead will support the global Markets data book of work, focusing on ensuring the timely execution of control deliverables to assess, define, and implement data controls across Markets. The role involves partnering with Data Domain owners, Data Stewards, Technology, and the Enterprise Data Office to provide sustainable solutions for putting Markets data under governance.

Markets Data Controls Lead - Responsibilities:
• Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of Data Controls for Critical Data Elements (CDEs)
• Facilitate and monitor adherence to Data Quality dimensions
• Define clear business and regulatory requirements for new data controls
• Coordinate with Technology to address control gaps
• Partner with Control Owners and Business Stakeholders to manage data exceptions
• Engage Markets SMEs and Data Consumers to validate control effectiveness

Markets Data Controls Lead - Mandatory Skills:
• 8-12 years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, or Risk/Controls
• Strong SQL skills
• Strong understanding of data governance principles
• Hands-on experience with CDE level data controls implementation
• Markets Data Controls Lead – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Extensive experience in risk and control within Markets or Financial Services
• Good knowledge of data used in Markets processes
• Experience in control assessments and testing
• Experience in operationalizing golden sources of data
• Markets Data Controls Lead – Assignment Length:
This is an 11 month contract position.
