Bilingual Content Designer/Writer (Marketing) ***location can be remote (working in EST) with the understanding that the consultant is Quebecois, French first language***One of Nexus Group's financial services clients is in need of a Bilingual UX/Content (Quebec French speaker) Writer to join their growing marketing team. This individual will be responsible for creating content for the company's external public-facing website.Essentials: While this role will primarily focus on delivering French (Quebecois) content, you must be bilingual in English and French.You have a portfolio or work to showcase.You have a degree/diploma in French, Journalism or Communications with experience in the digital marketing and technical writing space.You have a strong command of the written Canadian French language and are proficient in English as well.Experience in building digital financial products and using Content Management Systems would be an asset.Knowledge in inclusive design and WCAG accessibility standards would be an asset.Familiar with content strategy best practices, user experience and SEO.Experience working with Microsoft Office, JIRA, Confluence and Slack.In this role, you will:Partner with English writers to translate content into French, while ensuring alignment and localization (e.g. tone of voice, style and terminology) are appropriately maintained.Manage the review, feedback and approval processes with various stakeholder groups.What’s expected of you:Support and contribute to the content strategy, editorial guidelines, and messaging models, while aligning with English content writers on localization needs, consistency, tone of voice and writing style.Research, write, edit, translate and proofread online and offline materials (e.g. screen content, video scripts, storyboards, transcripts, error messages, user guides, client surveys, etc.) ensuring adherence to client brand standards, accessibility guidelines and cross-site consistency.Work closely with the web publishing and project teams to ensure timely delivery of content. ***location can be remote (working in EST) with the understanding that the consultant is Quebecois, French first language***
